We process your name, e-mail address, address data and bank details which are necessary to provide our services optimally on the basis of the agreement. Without this data, we cannot properly fulfil the agreement. For example, we cannot send the book if we do not have the data.

    We keep this data for 7 years (this is the statutory retention period for the tax authorities). In the unlikely event that you have a complaint about our services, we will process your name, email and the content of this complaint to come to the best possible solution for you. We use this data for optimal execution of the agreement. We will keep the data until this complaint is settled. To enable and optimise our website, we use analytics services. We have a commercial interest (legitimate interest) in using your surfing behaviour on our website and related data to analyse our service and improve it where necessary (see article 6).

    We will track your use of our website with Google Analytics and are bound by Google's retention periods. When you fill in the contact form on our website, we process, with your explicit consent, your name, e-mail, telephone number and other data you wish to enter on the form. We keep data from completed contact forms until your query has been dealt with and settled.

    We obtain the aforementioned data from you as a customer or website visitor, because you provide these data to us when ordering our book.

    The General Data Protection Regulation has given you a number of rights regarding the personal data you have allowed us to process.

    Consultation - You can request to see your data from us at any time. However, to verify your identity, we may ask you to confirm your identity using the app KopieID.
    Amendment - You can submit a request to have your data amended, corrected, supplemented, blocked or deleted.
    Objection - You may object to the processing of your data on the legal basis of the legitimate interest of Nordic Standards.
    Data transfer - Should you wish to transfer your data to another provider, Nordic Standards will provide your data in a structured and common form that can be accessed by common digital systems.
    Automated processing - You may always let us know your views on an automated decision made by Nordic Standards and have this decision reviewed by a third person.
    Withdrawal - If we have processed data based on your explicit consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent. However, this may affect the services we can provide to you.

    To exercise your rights, please send a request to help@thenordicstandards.com. We will assess your request as soon as possible. If we cannot comply with your request, we will let you know why we reject your request.

    Article 5 - Sharing of data
    Nordic Standards will not provide your data to third parties, unless this is necessary for optimal business operations or required from a legal obligation. We will not resell your data.

    Cookies are small pieces of information that are sent to your browser when you visit the website and are then stored on the hard disk in the memory of the device you use to visit our website. These cookies cannot damage your devices. Nordic Standards use functional and analytical cookies. - Functional cookies make the website work properly in all browsers and on all devices. These cookies do not store any personal data.
